Liverpool Plains Lookout

Who’d a Thought It Lookout is situated on the eastern side of the Kamilaroi Highway 1.5km from Quirindi. This gives a magnificent view of the, Liverpool Plains, prime agriculture land, under threat from the Hunter Gas Pipeline and Shenhua’s coal mine.

Leard State Forest

Drive along the Kamilaroi Highway between Narrabri & Boggabri. Three roads to the east will take you to see the destruction of the Leard State Forest by Whitehaven Coal.

Farmers voice their opinions by painting wheat bins, trucks and sheds placed near the roads between Narrabri and Gunnedah, and Coonamble and Pilliga.
