
Yarrie Lake is a round shallow lake thought to have been formed by a meteor strike thousands of years ago. It’s popular with water skiers when full.
Continue along Yarrie Lake Road and turn left at Yarrie Lake sign to Nuable Road. Turn right at Yarrie Lake Circuit sign and you will soon see Yarrie Lake on your left with picnic tables. From here you can see the facilities across the lake. Continue on the unsealed road, and turn left to go to the facilities, camp, shop and boat ramp.
Yarrie Lake Circuit continues on to join up with Yarrie Lake Road and on to Wee Waa or Pilliga. Or go back to Nuable Road, turn right and continue along unsealed roads until dead end at Cairn Crossing Road. Turn right to go to the Newell Highway. Watch out for a gas pipeline crossing.
